The IT Service Management Forum is the only internationally recognised and independent organisation dedicated to ITSM. The Australian chapter is holding it’s national conference in Perth, 17-19 August. The whole event involves workshops, an exhibition, keynotes, industry awards and social events centred around service management and knowledge-sharing practices in IT environments.
Award winners will be announced at the gala dinner on the 18th and I’m proud to say my eBook, A Simple Guide to Creating a Knowledge Base, has been nominated in the 2011 Whitepaper Competition.
I’ll be heading to Perth to attend the conference and hope to come away with lots of information to share with you. While the conference is specifically for the IT sector, many of the principles apply to every business. We all want to improve efficiency, productivity, and reduce costs, no matter what our business is about.
